Come & join an old friend of mine as Tom Dibb visits us from Bedfordshire to perform in the 'Up Close & Personal Sessions.
Tom is another artist that I have booked over the years and he never disappoints!
Tom tells his stories with undertones of blues, roots and folk, grown through a forest of soaring acoustic goodness.
Now with two full length albums under his belt, Tom has found his sound set firmly with an ever growing, loyal fan base that follow him not only across his home turf in the UK, but also across the Globe. Tom's world tour and self drive expedition in his 1989 vw campervan all the way from the UK to Australia in 2016, lay the foundations and inspiration for much of his material. It fits into mainstream molds, yet also satisfies a deeper creative taste.
Tom has successfully spread his music far and wide with a very organic style, playing and singing at every opportunity from street corners and living rooms, to full band gigs on big stages. A love for his trade means his sights are set on 'keeping it real' while achieving as much as he can.

Thomas Atlas is a dynamic British singer-songwriter, guitarist, and performer whose musical journey seamlessly blends genres such as blues, soul, funk, jazz, and Americana to create an authentic and organic sound. Beginning his career touring the UK and USA with Soul and Blues ensembles, he later embarked on a solo path, marked by a pivotal collaboration with talent from "The Brand New Heavies," including trumpet virtuoso Bryan Corbett. His viral "Garage Funk" videos ignited widespread fan and industry interest, leading to performances at iconic venues such as Ronnie Scott’s, Birmingham Symphony Hall, The 100 Club, Birmingham Town Hall, and a residency at Jools Holland’s The Jam House. He has captivated audiences across Europe with his electrifying guitar prowess and genre-blending compositions, with his debut album, featuring hit tracks like "Juice," introducing his vibrant, genre-fusing sound to a global audience—"Juice" now surpassing 400k streams. Known for his powerful live performances, Thomas consistently delivers energetic and soulful shows backed by talented session bands, forging deep connections with audiences at festivals such as Party in the Park, Dartmouth Music Festival, and The Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival. CANADIAN FOLK WITH BRITISH ROOTS
Since emigrating to Canada in 2002, Chris Ronald has amassed a repertoire that spans the folk spectrum and reflects both his British and Canadian backgrounds. As a teenager listening to Neil Young, Paul Simon, Nick Drake and the like, Ronald got hooked on songwriting when he put to music a poem he wrote in high school. However, he only started to go public after he moved to Vancouver and self-produced his first two albums, Pacific Time and Turning Tides. The latter caught the attention of The Georgia Straight who praised Ronald’s songwriting and “beautifully clear tenor voice” and wondered “where his obvious talent has been hiding for so long.” Encouraged, Ronald decided to go all in on his next project and first full-production studio album. The resulting Timeline album catapulted Ronald to a new level in his career with, among other accolades, a nomination for “Songwriter of the Year” at the Canadian Folk Music Awards. Following his CFMA showcase performance, Ronald was swiftly signed to esteemed Canadian folk label, Borealis Records, to release Fragments followed by Light & Dark. Both albums achieved top 10 on the international Folk Chart. Chris Ronald is an international touring artist who draws on his abilities as a highly skilled singer, storyteller and musician (guitar, harmonica, ukulele) to deliver a show that is captivating and unique.
